Junior HPC System Analyst
Job Definition.
Do IT Now is looking for a Support Analyst to join an established technical group delivering Worldwide HPC and AI infrastructure services to customers across research, automotive, life sciences, and manufacturing.
The required role is responsible for supporting the operational excellence of HPC and AI clusters across customer sites and managed environments.
- Deploying, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers and clusters.
- Investigating, triaging, and resolving incidents across first and second support tiers.
- Reducing manual workload by automating recurring tasks.
- Contributing to research initiatives.
Possibility to work remotely from all over Germany but with the requirement to participate in occasional events at the workplace of Munich.
Skills and Experience.
Essential skills
- A demonstrated track record running production Linux environments from Red Hat and SUSE families.
- Fluency in shell scripting paired with proficiency in a higher-level language like Python or Perl.
- Confident written and spoken communication in German and English, combined with a service-oriented mindset.
- Openness to occasional travel.
