As part of our growth, Do IT Now is recruiting a Junior Support Engineer to strengthen our technical team. You will be responsible for providing technical support, resolving incidents, contributing to continuous process improvement, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
You will join a committed and passionate team, made up of HPC experts recognized for their know-how. You will work in a flexible environment adapted to a remote organization. This position is open to candidates based anywhere in France. On-call duty periods, planned in advance, will be required to ensure continuity of technical support.
Responsabilities
Provide technical support for a cloud infrastructure under supervision
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve reported incidents
Contribute to the evolution of the customer platform
Establish processes to solve customer issues
Work closely with teams to improve system performance
Manage cloud computing resources, ensuring scalability and reliability
Contribute to writing technical documentation
Participate in IT projects under the supervision of the senior team
Take part in technology watch activities to anticipate industry developments and recommend innovative solutions
Essential skills
Strong command of Enterprise Linux
Scripting skills in Bash and Python
Knowledge of infrastructure, networking, AWS cloud computing, and application support
Knowledge of ServiceNow
Experience with schedulers such as Slurm
SysOps knowledge
Experience with DevOps and automation tools
Technical troubleshooting skills and ability to handle incidents
Familiarity with monitoring and performance management tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
Profile
Bachelor’s degree (3-year degree) in Computer Science
A first experience in technical support, system administration, or infrastructure management is highly appreciated
Experience with incident and ticket management tools, especially ServiceNow
Proficiency with Linux systems and parallel computing architectures
Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python)
Ability to work in demanding technical environments, with a strong focus on results and performance
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to varied technical environments
Fluent French
